Rules detail

Dear Flyfisherman,
thes rules have right to exist and should be followed. They should be less of a prohibition but more ethical code. Every selfrespecting stillwater game angler with a sporting attittude is going to follow these standards. We would terribly regret any intervention from our behalf.

- Use barbeless flies (flattened barbs are fine, too) tied on single hooks.
- Fish only one fly on your leader.
- Use a knotless landing net with soft mesh to land the fish.
- Use flies with an overall length of less than 3 cm (hook size 10).
-  For fairness reasons the tippet a breaking strenght of at least 4 lbs (5x or 0.14 mm).
- Lure and streamer fishing is limited to the winter season between November 1 st and March 15th, wich simply means no streamer patterns between March 15 th and October 30 th.
- Fish of less than 35 cm overall length are safety released to their element.
- Brown trout and native rainbow trout (smaller fish with perfect "oversized" fins) are always released into their pond.
- Fish in the upper pond and in the DIEUE stream are also be released.
- The DIEUE stream can only be fished at the season opening (mid-march, fishing permit required).
- Foul-hooking fish should be left those who must do it for subsistence, so don't do it on purpose, there is no need for any submersible fish keeping device.
- Stay away from split shot on your leader an tippet, there's no need for it.

FAIR FANDLING OF FISH:

Fish that are intended for kitchen use are be killed right away using a proper tool (priest), weighed before being gutted and schould then be stored in the herefore intended refrigerator to avoid a loss in culinary value.
Fish that are to be released should whenever possible not be taken out of their element, hooks removed and be revived until they swim away, especially after a longer fight. Please do not "trow back" fish.
Any fish squeezed by the gills is a condemned fish.
Any fish whose gills have been touched or damaged MUST BE KEPT, for sporting reasons.
